Dozens of multimillion-dollar tender contracts are about to hit the market

Gold Coast businesses are bracing to fight for a slice of the 171-room luxury resort’s construction, expected to create 2700 jobs on the Coast.

At present heavy machinery is excavating the site, with more than 20cu m of sand being poured on to Gold Coast beaches every five minutes.

Eventually three towers will grow from the hole in the sand.

Wanda Ridong Gold Coast sales director Andrew Bampton said the project would be a “visual masterpiece at the height of contemporary sophistication”.

“We’ve chosen the Gold Coast’s iconic shoreline as one of the most lucrative hot spots for capital growth in the coming years,” he said.
